Washington County detectives are asking the public for help identifying additional victims after a grand jury indicted a Portland man on multiple sexual assault charges.

Jullian Pioquinto Manuel Govea, 19, faces six charges: first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy, two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, first-degree invasion of personal privacy and coercion. A Washington County grand jury handed down the indictment Friday, Sept. 18, according to court records reported by KGW.

The charges are allegations. Govea has not been convicted.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) said the investigation began after a woman reported in July that she had been sexually assaulted by Govea. She had met him through social media a few weeks before the alleged assault, according to the sheriff's office. No specific platform was identified.

After executing multiple search warrants, detectives developed probable cause and arrested Govea on Sept. 10 in Portland. He was booked into the Washington County Jail.

Following the indictment, Govea was granted supervised release with GPS monitoring on $100,000 bail, KATU reported. Court conditions bar him from contacting the victim, the victim's family or witnesses.

No statement from Govea or a defense attorney appears in public records as of publication.

Detectives seek additional victims

The sheriff's office said detectives are concerned there may be additional victims connected to Govea. Anyone with information about this case or related crimes is asked to contact WCSO investigators at 503-846-2500 and reference case number 50-26-10362.
