Oregon State Credit Union's new branch at Timberland Town Center is soft-opening in August, just weeks after a car crashed into the under-construction space on July 10.

No one was injured.

The branch, located next to Market of Choice at 11835 NW Cedar Falls Drive, will hold a Grand Opening celebration on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to Cedar Mill News.

Jim Gibson, the credit union's chief operating officer, said the July crash caused damage but did not derail the timeline. Gibson said the branch remains on track to open once the space is fully restored and ready to welcome members, and he invited the community to the September celebration.

The new branch gives Bethany and Cedar Mill residents a local banking option at Timberland Town Center, the open-air shopping center that opened in 2015 as part of a 105-acre master-planned community with 1,100 residential units and three miles of walking trails.

Grace Aesthetics and Wellness, formerly BodElite Body Contouring, has reopened under its new name at 15160 NW Laidlaw Road, Suite 100, in Bethany Center. The medical spa offers Botox, fillers, skin rejuvenation, and body contouring services. The business's website was updated as recently as July 30, confirming the rebrand.
