Beaverton Police are asking Oak Hills and Cedar Mill residents to watch for a silver Honda Odyssey linked to a stabbing suspect who remains at large more than a week after a 30-year-old man was critically injured just miles from their neighborhoods.

Officers responded at approximately 5:15 a.m. on Aug. 4 to the area of SW 107th Avenue and SW Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway after reports of a stabbing, according to KGW, citing Beaverton Police. The intersection sits in the Cedar Hills/Raleigh Hills area of Beaverton, directly adjacent to Oak Hills and Cedar Mill.

Beaverton Police said a preliminary investigation shows the victim was stabbed following a confrontation with another person at that location. The man was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries and remained hospitalized as of Wednesday, Aug. 12.

No arrest has been made.

Police have not released a physical description of the suspect. The only identifying lead is a van believed to be an early-2000s, silver-colored Honda Odyssey that the suspect is associated with, and the department released a surveillance photo of the vehicle, according to KPTV.

Detective Brian Loose is leading the investigation, which the Beaverton Valley Times reported remains in its preliminary stages. The public appeal came eight days after the stabbing.

Anyone who witnessed the stabbing or has information about the silver Honda Odyssey is asked to contact Detective Loose at 503-526-2280 or [email protected].
