Three restaurants within a few minutes' drive of Bethany and Cedar Mill earned perfect 100-point health scores in Washington County's latest round of unannounced food-safety inspections, conducted in late July 2026.
Symphony Coffee House at 16155 N.W. Cornell Road, Burger King at 15945 N.W. Cornell Road and The Growlerie at 15151 S.W. Barrows Road all passed without a single deduction, according to results the county published Tuesday, Aug. 18.
They were among 15 Beaverton-area establishments that scored a perfect 100 in the late-July cycle, the Beaverton Valley Times reported. Other local spots on the list include Black Rock Coffee Bar at 17455 S.W. Tualatin Valley Highway, L&L Hawaiian Barbecue at 3205 S.W. Cedar Hills Blvd., Panera Bread at 3435 S.W. Cedar Hills Blvd. and La Hacienda Real at 12025 S.W. Canyon Road.
No Beaverton restaurant fell below the 85-point threshold this round.
The only east Washington County establishment to score below 85 was Joy Teriyaki at 7009 S.W. Nyberg St. in Tualatin, which received a 79. Inspectors cited six violations: a handwashing sink missing soap near the food-prep area, a dishwasher with inadequate chlorine levels, cut cooked chicken stored at too low a temperature (the food was discarded), musubi without proper time markings, unlabeled bulk food bins and clean cutting boards stored on a rack on the floor.
A score of 70 is passing. Restaurants that fall short face reinspection.
Washington County Environmental Health inspects all licensed food-service establishments twice a year on an unannounced basis and posts results to a searchable public database. Oregon updated its food sanitation rules in January 2026 to adopt the FDA's 2022 Model Food Code.
The late-July round is a separate inspection cycle from the early-July 2026 inspections we reported Aug. 4, when Venezuela Grill in Beaverton scored 81 and Oak Hills Brewpub earned a perfect mark.
